3 Easy Detox Ice Pops

Detoxing is a great way to flush out the bad stuff, hydrate your body and jump-start your health journey. Here are three easy detox ice pop recipes to keep you cool this summer.

What you’ll need:
Blender
Silicone mould
Reusable bamboo sticks

#1 Watermelon Flush Detox

Watermelon has lots of benefits. It keeps you hydrated and contains loads of nutrients and vitamins. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory, a stress-reliver and it’s great for your skin and hair. Pair this with the fiber-filled kiwifruit and mint leaves, and you’ve got yourself a great detox ice pop.

Ingredients:
3 watermelon slices (no skin)
Small handful of mint leaves
2 skinless kiwifruits
2 cups coconut water

Method:
Blend the watermelon slices with a cup of coconut water. Pour the mix in the moulds until ¾ full and place them in the freezer. Insert bamboo sticks when the mix is slushy.

Once the watermelon part is frozen, blend the kiwifruit and mint leaves with the coconut water. Top up the moulds with the mixture. Freeze overnight and enjoy!

#2 Ginger Ninja Detox


Ginger and turmeric are powerful ingredients. They both work to help fight infections and cleanse the build-up of waste and toxins in the liver, colon and other organs by stimulating digestion and circulation. They also contain a tonne of antioxidants!

Ingredients:
2 lemons
1 lime
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp turmeric
1 tbs honey
1 cup water

Method:
Blend the ingredients together, pour it in the moulds and place them in the freezer. Insert bamboo sticks when they’re half frozen. Freeze overnight and enjoy!

#3 Blueberry Bliss Detox

Blueberries help to repair muscle damage and alleviate inflammation and pain. They also provide antiviral protection against environmental toxins. Pair this with liver detoxifying lemons that also help the body produce glutathione and you have a tasty liver cleansing pop perfect for party season.

Ingredients:
100g of blueberries
2 lemons
2 cups of coconut water

Method:
Blend the ingredients together, pour it in your moulds and place them in the freezer. Insert bamboo sticks when they’re half frozen. Freeze overnight and enjoy!
