Light Rail

Take the Light Rail to Jubilee Park station and you’ll find Tramsheds located next to the station. Services operate from early morning, with average journey times taking 19 minutes from Central and 16 minutes from Dulwich Hill. The last Light Rail departs Jubilee Park at 11:24pm, with some later running services on Friday – Sunday.

Bus

Take bus route 433 between Balmain East and Pitt Street (Haymarket) – get off at The Crescent opposite Nelson Street, and walk 234m down Dalgal Way to Tramsheds. Or take bus route 431 between Glebe Point and Martin Place – get off at Glebe Point Road near Pendrill Street / Leichhardt Street, and walk 526m down Cotter Lane and Victoria Road to Tramsheds.

Bike 

 There is an abundance of bike paths around Tramsheds that can take you in all directions - towards the CBD, Annandale, Balmain, Chippendale, The University of Sydney, along the waterfront and more.

 

Car

Tramsheds is located less than 5km from the CBD. Exit off the City West Link onto The Crescent, and after 900m, at the roundabout, turn left into Nelson Street and take the first right into Dalgal Way. Or take Ross Street from Parramatta Road (opposite The University of Sydney) and follow along until it turns into The Crescent, and after 1.4km, at the roundabout, turn right into Nelson Street and take the first right into Dalgal Way. Onsite parking is available and plentiful, the first 2 hours of parking is free with free parking when you enter after 6pm.

Our car park now has dedicated charging bays to suit all electric vehicles, please see below for some frequently asked questions. 

Frequently Asked Questions 

Where are the electric vehicle charging stations located?

The charging stations are located on the Upper Deck Carpark near the entrance. 



How much does it cost to charge your vehicle?

Nothing. Our electric vehicle charging stations are complimentary for customers.



How long can I charge my vehicle?

Customers are welcome to use the charging stations for as long as they wish. Please note that standard car parking rates apply.



What hours are the charging stations available?

The charging stations will be available to customers during the car park opening times.



How many of charging station do you have?

We currently have three charging stations.



The charging station won’t work for me, who can help? 

The centre management team will be able to assist with any faults in the first instance. If you have any questions or require assistance, please call 02 8398 5695.



What types of vehicles can use the charging stations?

We have both Type One and Type Two connectors on the cables so you can charge regardless of manufacturer. These are on the white charging pods. The grey charging units are Tesla Type Two and should be used only by Tesla vehicles.



Do I need to provide our own adapters?

No, you can leave yours in the boot. While there is a move toward a single connector type in Australia there will always be at least 1 x Type One and 1 x Type Two cables onsite.



Do I need to register my details anywhere?

No need to register your details anywhere, our charging stations are free for you to use without having to download any apps.

Tramsheds Car Park is open from 6am to 11pm daily

Height Restrictions



Tramsheds’ upper level car park has a 2.1m height restriction. Vehicles over 2.1m in height should park in the main entrance outdoor car park.

Harold Park Community Centre

Located within Tramsheds and managed by the City of Sydney Council.

 

The Harold Park Community Centre is located within Tramsheds and managed by the City of Sydney Council. The venue is available for hire 7 days per week from 7am to 10pm. Please note, 2 weeks notice is required to make a booking at the Community Centre. 





Dimensions: The room measures 500m2

Capacity: The venue is limited to 250 people
