Weird and Wonderful Slime Recipes

PERFECT BUTTER SLIME

Ingredients:

– ½ Cup of Elmer’s White School Glue

– 3 Pumps Hand Lotion

– Glitter

– Food Colouring

– 200ml Boiling Water

– 1 teaspoon of Borax

– Soft Clay

Instructions:

Step 1: First, pour your Elmer’s white school glue into a bowl

Step 2: Add 3 pumps of lotion

Step 3: Add glitter & food colouring of your choice

Step 4: Pour 200ml of boiled water into a measuring jug and add 1 teaspoon of borax powder. Stir and mix the borax powder until it dissolves. This is now your ‘activator’ mixture.

Step 5: Pour your ‘activator mixture’ into the bowl a little bit at a time.

Step 6: Use a spatula to mix thoroughly. Once the slime starts ‘clumping’ together and is not sticking to the bowl, you can knead it with your hands.

Step 7: Add soft clay and mix in with your hands until the slime is smooth

Step 8: Your done! Have fun and play with your slime!

CRUNCHY SLIME

Ingredients:

– ½ Cup of Elmer’s glue

– Food Colouring

– 100ml Boiling Water

– 1 teaspoon of Borax

– 1 Cup Styrofoam Balls

Instructions:

Step 1: First, pour your Elmer’s white school glue into a bowl

Step 2: Add a few drops of coloured food dye (optional)

Step 3: Pour 100ml of boiled water into a measuring jug and add 1 teaspoon of borax powder

Step 4: Stir and mix the borax powder until it dissolves. This is now your ‘activator’ mixture.

Step 5: Pour your ‘activator mixture’ into the bowl a little bit at a time.

Step 6: Use a spatula to mix thoroughly. Once the slime starts ‘clumping’ together and is not sticking to the bowl, you can knead it with your hands

Step 7: If the slime is still sticky add in more activator mixture

Step 8: Add approximately 1 cup of styrofoam balls into the slime

Step 9: Mix the styrofoam balls into the slime with your hands

Step 10: Your done! And your crunchy slime is ready to go. Have fun!

GLITTER SLIME

Ingredients:

– 1 Cup of Elmer’s Glitter Glue

– 200ml Boiling Water

– 1 teaspoon of Borax

Instructions:

Step1: Pour your Elmer’s Glitter glue into a bowl

Step 2: Use a whisk to stir the glue in case there’s any chunks

Step 3: Pour 200ml of boiled water into a measuring jug and add 1 teaspoon of borax powder

Step 4: Mix the borax powder until it dissolves. This is now your ‘activator’ mixture.

Step 5: Add the activator mixture to your bowl, two (2) teaspoons at a time, then mix with a spatula.

Step 6: Keep adding the activator mixture, two (2) teaspoons at a time, until the slime is not sticky anymore (note: this will take longer than other slimes recipes)

Step 7: When the slime is no longer sticking to the edges of the bowl, it time to play!

Step 8: Enjoy your GLITTER SLIME!
